The section highlights the list of material required for setting up and running creches. The list includes both - one-time assets and material required on recurring basis in the programme.

Anthropometric Equipment

The Anthropometric equipment are used to capture anthropometric measurements of children enrolled in creches. The process of growth monitoring is explained here in detail.

5 Calibration Rod 1 Specification to be included This will be used for caliberating infantometer and stadiometer.

First-aid Kit

A first-aid kit is essential to enable caregivers or supervisors to take immediate action in case of minor injuries among children at creches. It is critical that a first-aid kit is available from Day 1 of creche operations.
While procuring items for the first-aid kit, expiry dates must be carefully checked. Thereafter, the contents of the kit should be reviewed on a monthly basis to ensure usability and timely replacement of expired items. The guidelines for using first-aid kit are detailed here.

Water-storage, Cleaning and Washing Utilities
