Line Listing Process

Once the secondary data is collected and verified through an initial visit to the villages, and an optimum number of children (15–20) is identified for operationalizing a creche, the HH listing process should be initiated. The HH listing must be done directly in the Shishughar application, and the pen-and-paper mode should be avoided. Step-wise guidelines on conducting household listing using the application can be found here.

STEP 1 – We should conduct the household listing exercise for the entire village or settlement. Household listing is to be done for all the children aged 0-3 years in a village or settlement. The household listing will refelct the number of children eligible for the programme.

STEP 2 – In case there is a possibility of multiple creche centres in a village we shall further shift additional households to a newly assigned creche.

STEP 3 – If a child is eligible but not enrolled due to any reasons (Death, Migrated & Outside Catchment Area), we should select the appropriate option in the 'Child Status' field in the HH List in the application. A screen shot of the same is shown below for your reference.

NOTE: In case the child was enrolled in a creche, but exited later due to any reason, then there is no need to change the CHILD STATUS in the HH List.
