Daily routine of creche

A structured routine helps the creche run smoothly and predictably. It creates a sense of order and familiarity for both caregivers and children.
Routine plays a vital role in ensuring that every activity from meals to playtime happens in a timely and organized manner, supporting the children’s development and well-being.

By following a daily routine, we ensure:

  • A predictable rhythm that provides comfort and security to children.
  • A clear structure for caregivers to manage time efficiently.
  • A healthy balance between learning, playing, rest, and meals.

The following schedule is indicative and can be adapted based on local context and community needs.

Concept of Food Routine / Menu

A food routine and menu in a creche ensure that children receive balanced and nutritious meals necessary for their healthy growth and development.

It also helps build positive eating habits and fosters a consistent, safe environment where children can enjoy meals together.

The following is an indicative weekly food plan. It can be modified as per local availability and community preferences.

Weekly Food Plan

Day Morning Snack Lunch Evening Snack
Monday Chatua Khichdi (with 2 green vegetables) and boiled egg Sooji
Tuesday Chatua Khichdi and boiled egg Ragi
Wednesday Chatua Khichdi and boiled egg Sooji
Thursday Chatua Khichdi and boiled egg Ragi
Friday Chatua Khichdi and boiled egg Sooji
Saturday Chatua Khichdi and boiled egg Ragi
Sunday Weekly off for the creche (or menu may be adjusted as per local schedule)

Note:

If the creche remains open on Sunday and closed on another weekday, the same food menu can be adjusted accordingly to ensure children receive the intended variety and nutrition across the week.
